First off let me say i am the farthest thing from snobby or upper class. I am a blue-collar worker that works hard for his money. With that being said I was completely disappointed with rental. first thing you notice when you walk in is the big stains on the carpet. I wore my shoes the whole time I was in the cabin. then we noticed the disgusting kitchen utensils they provide and old crusty stuff in the cabinets. we had to go to a local store and purchase our own kitchen supplies so we could cook the food we brought. then we noticed the disgusting portable fan feet from the bed we slept in. was covered in dust and dirty as can be. then we noticed that the fan and heater and whatever was in the bathroom ceiling didn't work. went to cook food on the grill and there was no propane, luckily we brought a charcoal grill, or I guess we would of gone out to dinner and spent more money. we did get a new tank the next day, and a tv because the one there was broken. the only good thing about this cabin is the view of the lake. if you are going to charge hard working people $165 a night you would think you would care a little more about your rental properties. a friend stayed 2 cabins down from us, owned by a different person. everything inside and out of the cabin looks new, also paid less a night then I did. he came down and stated, I stayed in this cabin a while back. really went down hill, guess they don't care anymore. hard to leave when you already paid half the rental fee and packing up and finding another place to stay was not an option. I wouldn't rent this cabin again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. to be blunt, this cabin is a dump !!! put some pride in your stuff, or maybe you just don't care. you got my money and everyone else's money. so maybe that's all that matters.
